It may be your family of origin or your spiritual community. Sometimes we're called out. Sometimes we're kicked out. But wandering isn't all bad, and we're looking at the way the Bible narrates that journey.

What do you do with a text that calls for wives to submit to their husbands when we know that so many women are abused? What do you do with a text that calls for slaves to obey their masters? And how do these teachings relate to the big, hopeful idea of Colossians - that God has chosen to live God's life in flesh and blood?
