8.9 [TEACHING] Sacred Questions: Where are you?
Tuesday Aug 11, 2020
Tuesday Aug 11, 2020
Jason Miller - We're returning to one of our communal practices: letting ourselves be drawn out by the questions God asks in Scripture. This week we find ourselves in the story of Adam and Eve in Genesis 3. They're hiding in shame and fear, and the voice of love calls them out by asking, "Where are you?"
This teaching was recorded at Four Winds Field, where we're holding outdoor Sunday night gatherings instead of our regular gathering schedule at Studebaker 112, which has been suspended due to COVID-19. You'll hear an audio glitch for the first minute or so, but then it clears up.

8.2 [ANNOUNCEMENT] Important things are worth revisiting
Saturday Aug 01, 2020
Saturday Aug 01, 2020
This week, instead of pressing forward with new teaching via video and podcast, we wanted to pause to take the time to remember some of the things we have learned together that have been most influential to who we are as a church.
This may be an opportunity to reinforce some learning from the past, or it may be the first time you'll hear some of these ideas that have shaped our church.
Here is a curated selection of past teachings we’re recommending this week. If you get a chance, listen to one or more of these podcasts from past gatherings:

Jason Miller - During COVID-19, we’re turning to the text of Philippians for a new teaching series meant to help us consider the possibility of God that meets us in this difficult time. This week's teaching explores the real meaning of Gospel and Christ as realities that relativize the pursuits of the ego, and as mandates for the pursuit of justice in a world that is aching with the pain of racial oppression. If you'd like to watch, rather than just listen, you can view this teaching film here.
