This weekend we spent some time with the idea that stories are meant to be shared. We began our time this weekend with some songs and a poem, written by one of our community members, that reminds us of the importance of the stories in our community.

11.6 [UPDATE] The Tribune Project #4

In the Tribune Project update we shared two weeks ago, increased costs for Phase 1 renovations had created a gap of roughly $1.5MM between our project resources (giving commitments, grant funding, and mortgage) and our renovation costs. This weekend, Jason gave an update on the project and what we’ve been able to accomplish over the last few weeks - spoiler alert: it’s good news. 10.30 [FAMILY DEDICATION]

In this Sunday’s gatherings, families of all kinds came forward to dedicate themselves in the sacred work of raising kids, and we as a church affirmed them and committed ourselves to walking with them. We culminated our time with the Eucharist, so if you’d like to join us in that practice, feel free to grab crackers and juice of some kind.

This weekend we spent time in practices to point us towards gratitude and hope. Between singing songs, reading from the Lectionary, and listening to each other during an open floor, we celebrated with thankful hearts and hoped for future moments of gratitude.
