4.2 [LITURGY] Lent Week 6: Space to Reflect
Thursday Apr 06, 2023
Thursday Apr 06, 2023
In a week where many of us have been weeping over the violence committed against the vulnerable in a school in Nashville, we take a minute to acknowledge the grieving and broken-heartedness in our lives and in the world around us. If possible, we encourage you to listen in a quiet space as we sing together, take some time for personal reflection, and have the chance to hear some vulnerable stories of how members of our community are processing.

Monday Apr 03, 2023
Monday Apr 03, 2023
Jason Miller - In a week where many of us have been weeping over the violence committed against the vulnerable in a school in Nashville, we also find ourselves turning to the Palm Sunday story of Jesus weeping over Jerusalem. This story includes an implicit confrontation between two very different visions of how to hold the world together, and it brings a challenge for all of us.

3.19 [PRACTICE] Letting Go Gathering
Monday Mar 20, 2023
Monday Mar 20, 2023
During Lent, we're reflecting on the ways that life often calls us to let go. Relationships. Visions of our future. Old ways of doing things that aren't fruitful anymore. In this weekend’s gatherings, our friend, Becky Ykema, led our community in some practices to reflect on and engage our own stories of letting go. Sometimes letting go of these things can feel a bit like dying, but that's why Lent is a good time for this reflection. And as we make our way to Good Friday and Easter, we remember Jesus' death and resurrection, knowing that he walks with us in those small deaths.
Today’s gathering includes the practices of singing, breath prayer, communal reading, open floor, holy space, and the Eucharist. If you would like to join us in the practice of Eucharist, make sure to have some form of cracker or bread and wine or juice.
