Jason Miller - After celebrating the power of the love of God in Romans 8, Paul goes on to a complicated wrestling match in chapters 9-11 about the fate of his own people and the faithfulness of God. If you've ever tried to read these chapters, you may have been tempted to skip through them because of how technical they are. But this is one of the places in Paul's work where people have looked to answer big questions about blessing and curse, chosen-ness, who's in, who's out, and the nature of God's character in these things. So in this gathering, we decided to get into it.

3.24 [TEACHING] Palm Sunday and Two Approaches to Power
Monday Mar 25, 2024
Monday Mar 25, 2024
Jason Miller - Palm Sunday is more than a pageant - it’s the performance of a confrontation between different visions of power. Two different visions of God. If we receive the revelation of this day and take seriously what Jesus did, it could transform our relationship with God, our relationships with each other, and even our politics.

2.18 [TEACHING] Romans (wk 7) - Each of Us is a Contradiction
Monday Feb 19, 2024
Monday Feb 19, 2024
Jason Miller - After a long hiatus, we're back to Romans. In the first few chapters of the letter, Paul takes on an accusatory tone that leaves many of us feeling uncomfortable. But what happens if you have enough context to understand what he's doing with this strange argument? You might find a very relevant word for all of us in this current cultural moment.

2.11 [CONVERSATION] See the City (wk 4) - Jacqueline Kronk on Young People
Monday Feb 12, 2024
Monday Feb 12, 2024
Jacqueline Kronk and Jason Miller - As we prepare to move to the Tribune and pursue our vision of creating a place for the people, we've curated four weeks of conversations with local leaders and experts about different needs and experiences that shape the people of our city.
This week, we learned from Jacqueline Kronk, CEO of Boys and Girls Clubs of St. Joe County. Not only did we learn more about the challenges facing K-12 kids and their families, but we also announced a new partnership with the Boys and Girls Clubs, with programs for kids launching at the Tribune this summer.
